The School Streets scheme aims to address the issues that many schools experience in their immediate vicinity, including poor road safety, congestion, double parking and poor air quality caused by the volume of car traffic at drop off and pick up times.

The restrictions implemented by the School Streets scheme are designed to make it easier and safer to walk, cycle and scoot to school, as well as freeing the surrounding residential streets of congestion.

We are proposing to make changes around Whitefield Primary School and would like to hear your views on the proposals.
